Now that you added a printer, let me show you how to share it to others on the same network.

1.) First step to share your printer is to locate the start button:

“SELECT” the start button.

2.) Once you selected the start button, a start menu will appear:

3.) In the start menu, locate devices and printers in the right column:

“SELECT” devices and printers.

4.) Which will bring you to the devices and printers menu:

5.) In the printers and faxes section, locate the printer you want to share….. for this example we will use the printer called “test printer”:

“RIGHT-CLICK” on the printer you want to share.

6.) A menu will appear:

In this menu “SELECT” printer properties, the fourth option down.

7.) The printer properties dialog box will appear, in this window “CLICK” on the sharing tab ….. your menu should now appear as:

8.) Make sure that the share this printer box is checked with the appropriate printer name ( remember in this case its ” test printer” ) then simply “SELECT” apply and then “SELECT” ok:

You have now successfully shared your printer.
