The first thing you’ll need to do is find the
start button located in the taskbar all the way to the left:

Once you selected the start menu button, the
start menu will appear:

In the start menu, select control panel located
in the center of the right column:

The control panel will appear:

If your control panel doesn’t appear the same as
the photo in step 4, in the “view by:” drop down box- make sure category is
selected…. If not, select the drop down arrow and click on category:

In the control panel, you will see the “ system
and security “ section which holds the find and fix problems choice:

The troubleshoot computer problems menu will
appear in the control panel:

In the left bottom corner, you will see the help
and support option:
Select help and support.

The windows help and support menu will appear:

the search help box at the top:

search help box should now look like:

First you need to click the start menu:

Then you will see the start menu popup:

Select the help and support button located at
the bottom of the right column:

The help and support menu will popup:

Follow steps 10 and 11, which will bring you to
the “how to add new hardware” help menu screen:
