Continue to Step
1.) Click on “Start”
2.) Select “All Programs”
3.)Select “Windows Update”
4.) Select “Check for Updates”
5.) Windows Update will now begin to Check for any available Updates.
6.) Here you can either Click “Install Updates” or to see which updates that are select to install click on the “# Important updates are available link”
7.) If you viewed the specific updates you can now place a checkmark next to the updates you want.
8.) In addition you can choose to install optional updates as well.
9.) Click “OK”
10.) Click “Install Updates”
11.) Windows Updates will no download the updates.
12.) Once the updates are downloaded, Windows 7 will begin to install the Updates.
13.)When the updates are installed, repeat steps 4 – 10 until all of the available updates are completely installed
14.) If you would like to configure Automatic Updates, just click on the “change settings” button
15.) Adjust your Automatic updates settings to you preferences.
16.) Click “OK” when done
